Lifetime Health BusinessWorks Welcomes New Sales Manager

ROCHESTER, NY—Karl Schlifke has been named manager, sales and business development, for Lifetime Health BusinessWorkssm, a New York State-certified preferred provider organization that uses an integrated care model to manage the workers’ compensation process.

Schlifke will be responsible for sales and future development of the BusinessWorks program and client base. This includes supporting the launch of the program in Buffalo and expansion of the program in Rochester.

Schlifke brings a diverse background in manufacturing sales and operations management to the organization. Schlifke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in manufacturing engineering technology from Texas A&M University, and an Executive Masters degree in Business Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
 
Lifetime Health BusinessWorkssm is a New York State-certified preferred provider organization that uses an integrated care model to manage the workers’ compensation process. It is operated by Lifetime Health Medical Group, and brings together occupational medicine programs, local case management specialists, physicians and other providers with workers’ comp and occupational medicine expertise. BusinessWorks is staffed by certified nurse case managers who act as employee advocates, and coordinate vocational evaluation and job placement services. These services help employees return to productivity sooner and reduce medical and indemnity costs for employers. Case managers serve as the liaison among all parties involved in the workers’ comp claim. BusinessWorks is available to Rochester area employers and will launch in Buffalo in mid-2007.
